Oak Lane Soapworks - Melinda Miller
Oak Lane Soapworks
I never thought that I would be selling soap, but now it seems so natural. I started as a customer. In 2013, I picked up a bar of soap at Falls Church Farmers Market and didn’t realize the significance of that action. I loved the soap – it smelled good, it made my skin feel good. It made me feel good. In summer 2014, the purveyor of my beloved soap had moved out of the DC area and wanted to sell the business. I leaped. With that leap, I have learned so much about soap making, skin care, natural ingredients and people. Six years later, the creation and production of healthful, natural products is an important part of my life.
I joined 3 Days with the Artists for two years. I enjoyed the bucolic atmosphere of Laura’s farm, the creativity of the other vendors, the interaction with the customers. I hope that I have created a relationship with those who have visited with me at Laura’s farm in the past few years. I invite you to look at my current products on my website listed below. If you don’t find a what you’re looking for, please write me at info@oaklanesoap.com. I’m happy to help you find your perfect soap, candle or moisturizer.
